Roll is a verb which has its etymological origin in the Latin word rotāre. It is a concept with several different uses.

Rolling can be the action that an object performs when spinning around its axis or moving. It also refers to the body that move on wheels or turning on itself . For example: "As soon as the ball began to roll, I knew it had been a good pitch", “If you fall down that slope, you will just stop rolling when you crash into those trees”, "The car will not start rolling until the mechanic does not order".
